Includes 143 oral history taped interviews, 1 film commentary, and 2 papers from individuals, living mainly in the U.S., Switzerland, and England, about their relationship with C. G. Jung. Also contains typed transcripts of the taped interviews. Interviews given in German are presented in the original and in English translation. Other papers include correspondence from interviewees and notes on the identities of interviewees as compiled by the interviewer, Gene F. Nameche. Among those interviewed are children and grandchildren of Jung, Drs. Henry A. Murray, Carl A. Meier, Jolande Jacobi (1890-1973), Kurt and Wolfgang Binswanger, Manfred Bleuler, Alphonse Maeder, and Medard Boss, and Jung's friends Fowler McCormick and Ruth Bailey. The oral histories reflect the atmosphere of Jung's circle and the nature of his psychiatric practice and lecture activities. They also show how he worked with colleagues, including Emma Jung and Toni Wolff.
